Professional-grade fire suppression connected directly to your water supply. Be fully equipped so you, your neighbors, and first responders can act immediately, before the fire engine arrives.
Malibu-based. Serving fire-risk communities locally and nationally.
Every home sits on a pressurized water supply. Hainy Hydrant unlocks that power.
A garden hose was never built to fight fire. Here's how it compares to what your water main can actually deliver through a Hainy Hydrant.
Most residential water mains deliver 40–120 PSI — pressure that gets reduced once it enters the home. Hainy Hydrant is designed to exploit the full force of what's already there. Insuring maximum pressure and maximum flow.
Every property is different. We test your water supply, map your structures, and recommend the best protection plan. Installation can be done by a handy DIY-er or any licensed plumber.
Single-outlet protection for smaller properties. Everything you need to respond quickly and protect your home from initial fire starts.
Dual-outlet coverage for larger properties. Professional-grade protection on multiple sides of your home. The same equipment used by fire departments.
The complete package for homeowners who want full-scale protection now. The integrated pool pump backfeeds all hydrants, so your entire system works independently from the city water supply. We assess, design, install, and maintain.
Already have a Hainy Hydrant? Add extras individually.

Matt Haines is a builder and an L.A. County Call Firefighter who has lived in Corral Canyon, Malibu since the 90s. He's been through some of the most devastating wildfires in California history — the Corral Fire, the Woolsey Fire, the Palisades Fire — and has fought them firsthand, on the ground, protecting his community.
When the Corral Fire swept through Malibu, Matt was on the ground defending homes in his neighborhood with his own personal fire equipment. After saving multiple neighbors' homes, he was recognized with the city's Citizen of the Year honor — the Malibu Dolphin Award. Since then, he knew the way to save your home is to take first action, and he began installing hydrant systems across Corral Canyon. Today, every third house on his street has one.
Now his son-in-law Lasse has joined the mission. Two generations, both from construction, with a shared passion for protecting the communities they live in. They're bringing Hainy Hydrant — built on decades of real firefighting experience — to more families across California.
"I didn't set out to start a company. I just wanted my neighbors' homes to still be there in the morning."
